Piston "RS-Racing Version".
Piston is out of a Al-Sil alloy-composition with a separate special insert in the piston head for controlled termal conditions in the burning chamber, see also informations under "home".

The Titan-Piston Maiolo has a special geometry, which was adapted and optimized for:
- a better compression
- reduced friction
- easier running in the cylinder
- reduced abrasion
By that, no modifications of the mounting clearance have to be made (please use the mounting clearance provided by the engine-manufacturer, We recommend an additional mounting clearance (freeplay between piston & cylinder) of 0,01-0,02 mm to the provided informations of the engine manufacturer.
Attention: Before starting the assembly of the piston, always do the measuring of the joint / gap of the piston-ring. The dimension must be 0,30 mm. We recommend a dimension in the range of 0,30-0,35 mm.
Attention: The Titan-Piston needs more benzine / gasoline, please make corresponding settings on the Carburetor.
