The "TPM piston ring version racing is a 1,0mm piston ring with a special surface that adapts faster and better to nikasil® cylinder.
For this purpose, the geometry was adapted such thet the friction resistance corresponds to a 0,8mm piston ring.
The advantages of our new piston ring are a better and more costant compression combined with less resistance.

First Tests of the new piston-generation 2017 successful
The first tests of our new piston generation were successfully completed. On a French track in Alsace, the first tests with the new piston generation were successfully carried out.
The expected performance increase was immediately noticeable, "the response is noticeable in all speed ranges" was the testimony of our test driver Ralf Bus.
In addition, the CEO of Titan Piston Maiolo GmbH, Nino Maiolo, wanted to drive the first test kilometers with the new pistons by himself: "I want to feel for myself what our development brings, so I can understand, what our customers request and if changes need to be made ".

International Kart Exhibition 2017 great success
Titan Piston Maiolo GmbH, was once again represented by an own stand at this year's international kart exhibition in Offenbach..

A new development was presented, with which the pistons for 125 ccm engines can be manufactured individually and individually as required.
The basis is a universal piston blank, which makes it possible to meet the different customer requirements. Thus, on the one hand, serial pistons can be manufactured comparable to those of the manufacturers, but also the various special requirements. The customer can order a modified piston pin position as well as the piston base individually by means of our own production using a state-of-the-art CNC turning / milling center. Furthermore, different piston ring thicknesses can be selected.
A major advantage, however, is that the customer can adjust the diameter precisely to the cylinder when it has been honed several times.

The piston shape has already been prepared for the production of the RS-Racing piston, in which a separate alloy insert in the piston base ensures even more power, better response and higher speeds.
In addition, the piston can be ordered with a special 3D TPC coating. High-quality piston rings, specially nitrided piston bolts and weight-optimized discs for clutches add further advantages in kart use.
The visit of a journalist from special magazine VROOM, who was very impressed by the products, rounded off the IKA 2017 perfectly.
